On Monday June 13th, 2022, at about 4:00 p.m., based on information received, police visited The Farm Inn, located 2 miles away from San Antonio Village. Upon arrival, they observed the lifeless body of Kevin Malcolm Brown, a 70-year-old British South African retiree with multiple gunshot injuries to his body. Initial investigation revealed that at about 3:17 p.m., Jim Macarthur, 62-year-old, American Farmer of San Antonio Village, and his wife visited Brown’s residence. Upon arrival, they observed that the front door was locked. As a result, they went to the backdoor and opened it. Subsequently, they discovered the lifeless body of Kevin Brown. Brown was reportedly found lying face up in a pool of blood, with gunshot injuries to the center of his palm, chest, back, and left ear. The body of Kevin Brown was transported to the Punta Gorda Hospital where it was pronounced dead on arrival.   Police are investigating.
