Overview

Today, East Radio is already a very well-known radio station, we are a community-based radio station committed to bringing Information, Education and Entertainment to our very diverse listening audience. A brain child of Mr. Elodio Aragon Jr. and Mr. Fortunato Noble.

The programming is conducted in both English and Spanish thereby catering to both the English and Spanish speaking population. Our programming is wide and varied, and consists of music, news, talk shows, coverage of live events, and programs which showcase our Belizean Culture.

HISTORY

East Radio was first aired on February 5th of 2018. We were on a testing phase for a few months making sure the transmitter, antennas, computers, audio adjustments and software were all up to an optimal working condition, so that East Radio be the best station with audio and radio programs.

East Radio Station was officially inaugurated on the 21st of April 2018 and the building, “home of East Radio”, is dedicated to Elodio Aragon Sr., a tireless and fearless community leader that has championed, and continues to champion, the cause of the people of Orange Walk and Belize.

East Radio has bold ideas that make East Radio very popular and a favorite Radio Station for every household. We are becoming one of Belize’s favorite Radio Stations.

East Radio 104.9 F.M. is one of the newest radio stations in the country, duly registered and operating out of Orange Walk Town. Our broadcasting suite is situated at the Corner of Bliss Drive and Liberty Avenue in the Heart of Orange Walk Town.

We work to bring the best in music excellence, entertainment and education. We are a community-oriented radio station serving the needs of our diverse community.
